Dwane Casey Sends Strong Message on Jalen Duren

1. I agree with the C+. He made some nice smalls and impactful moves, but he could've made some more small and impactful moves and chose to hold and let the Lakers steal half the guys we probably could've gotten and needed

7. It is VERY frustrating constantly hearing about Duren! I wish he just gets traded! Just move on from him.

8. If they sign Duren, the post D is gonna be non existent next season. And we know his offense will disappear come playoff time. Its a contract year and that was his best effort. Go no more then 26 to 30 million a year.

17. Bucks just gave Gary Trent Jr. a 64mil contract. Could mean they are willing to part with Herro. If we trade 2 firsts for Herro or MPJ we will have to extend them and they both will get between 40-45mil over the next 3-4 years. Trey Murphy is under contract for the next 3 seasons at 30mil a year. That contract alone is worth the extra first round pick. That’s why I think we should absolutely give them 3 firsts and get it done with Trey. Plus he’s the best defender out of the 3 by far and really fits the Pistons mentality. He’s still getting better and I think could be a 25pt per game scorer on this team with Cade getting him the ball. It’s a NO BRAINER. Get it done Trajan.

18. The Pistons are making the Trae Young Atlanta Hawks mistake. Atlanta once they advanced to the playoffs second round with Trae Young, they never put any other superstar type with Trae and kept putting role players around him. When Trae wasn't on the court, Atlanta could not stay with the Eastern elite teams. The Pistons are doing the same thing. They don't have anyone that can create their own shot or consistently put up 20 pts along with Cade or if Cade is not on the court. The Pistons organization has not put anything around Cade as star power and will eventually wear Cade down and he will want out of Detroit. All of the other teams in the East have gotten better and Detroit has really gotten worse for next year. They have lost key players and are not sure the players that they picked up can replace Tobias and Beef Stew. Now they want to run it back with a lot of the same players who can't shoot. The players they did pick up has not played together and I know for sure will not get close to the 60 win season. If they don't get another bonified scorer, they'll get bounced in the first or second round of the playoffs again.

19. Ausar and Duren will both be top 30 players by 2030.
