Is it confirmed he returned? We should move on. He will never be better than he is now
This is why I didn’t want him back!
I can’t unsee that playoffs when we needed him most he vanished and got out played by every big man he ran into
Yeah and until he figure it out how much you paying him?
🗣💨 Gotta trade dude!!
Even doe stew wasn’t the best on offense dude played good draymond green type defense that got us the 1 seed, Duren play his best in my opinion when stew was on the floor, him protecting the rim be his self going the challenge coming this season since we starting a smaller line up this year
Alot of fans love Duren
If Duren wants to prove he can put up numbers and be the man he should’ve shown that during the playoffs. He completely disappeared and left Cade in the dust. So that gives people doubt that he can do that even as the second option in the playoffs.
If he went to the Kings he wouldn’t have to worry about performing in the playoffs, because the Kings won’t get there for a long time. Maybe he’d rather just get his max contract, be a regular season player and not have to deal with the playoffs. Because that’s when the pressure is really on.. the post season.
Some players would just rather be an all star, go home when the season is over and start their vacation instead of pushing for a championship
Well If he shut down he will never get another big contract 🤷🏽♂️
And no way he can carry a team tf outta here he’s one dimensional
I like Duren. He has a lot of potential. That playoff performance and this contract negotiation process has me second-guessing. Glad I’m not management. At the beginning of all this, I would have been mad if they didn’t sign him. Now, I would understand if they trade him away. But if they can get him for 35 and he would be happy with that, then they should take the gamble on him and double down.
You got to keep Jalen because they traded the heart of the team and stew I suggest them take the most he can get out the team before they do him like they did Cam Thompson I hope he can get all he can get.
I want to give him a chance but the thing is it wasn’t his first playoffs. He struggled in 2025 as well. That’s fine, 2025 was his first playoffs… he gets a pass. I could understand if he struggled in 1 series, but 2? And then the year before as well? If he wants to be the guy he should’ve been more dominant and not let Wendell Carter jr and Mobley completely dominant and embarrass him. If he wants to be the guy he should’ve been there for Cade. Cade had broken ribs and still gave it his all. Meanwhile Duren was jogging down the court, letting the ball slip out of his hands whenever Cade or anyone passed it to him in the post. They tried to get him involved. He just simply couldn’t handle the pressure from those bigs.
He got a taste of being the guy against the wizards 3 times, the pacers, and other bad teams or teams without their stars when Cade was out. None of those teams they beat had good centers. He does struggle against the best bigs in the league. I want to see him dominate the good bigs before I can say he’s able to completely carry a team for 82 games. And not just against the bad teams.
