Chaney isnât really much of a floor spacer, but heâs only 6â7â. Can he really be a 5 in todayâs NBA?
I love the tempered, intelligent and optimistic evaluations of Chaney's performance thus far, but my overall impression is simply that the Nets definitely need to have him out there. He brings energy, physicality, rebounding and a spark. Yes, he still has to earn his minutes, but everything I've seen so far leads me to believe that won't be a problem
Like any Nets fan, I love Sharpe's hustle. But there's a danger he'll be exploited defensively as his minutes increase. Chaney Johnson has a good chance to be a regular rotation member if Sharpe falters
