Can the Cleveland Cavaliers compete for an NBA Championship next year without LeBron James?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have assembled one of the Eastern Conference’s deepest rosters, but if LeBron James doesn’t return, can this group still win it all? With Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, James Harden, Jarrett Allen, and an experienced supporting cast, Cleveland has already proven it can compete at a high level. After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last season, the Cavaliers are close—but is their current roster enough to get over the hump without adding one of the greatest players in NBA history?

The bigger question is whether the Cavaliers truly need another superstar or simply another year of growth. Can Evan Mobley take the leap into MVP territory, can Donovan Mitchell lead a championship offense, and can this core finally break through on its own? If LeBron never comes back to Cleveland, do you still believe this team has what it takes to raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy?

  1. They cant win with the roster they have now. Need to get rid or Mobley or Allen for a Zion or someone like that. That rumor trade of getting Bron, Kyrie and Gafford would be the best scenario I've seen so far.
