  1. I think i have the Lakers going 6 seed or even higher like 4. I would be surprised if they are just a play in team, Luka and AR are gonna be dominating BUT i just hope that Walker Kessler shine and do his thing. And whoever that missing piece to the starting line up either Kuminga or any player that is a wing, Lakers are good. Also lastly, chemistry has to be build, they need that going into playoffs

  2. Always a Lakers fan, but the organization came up short on many levels during LeBron's time here. Our fans and podcasters are spoiled and unappreciative. Thanks LeBron for bringing another chip to the Lakers.

  3. So tired of the what were the Lakers before LeBron came take. No one remembers the 90’s Lakers. Magic’s coaching stint. We’ve had down times before and got through them. Look LeBron got to put another ring on his resume and the lakers got to put another trophy in the case. A mutual business transaction. But nothing more than that. No fault of LeBron but the fans didn’t get to attend the 2020 finals. No parade, and the truth is. No one including other players in the league has any respect for the 2020 championship. So it’s not hard to see why LeBron is not worshipped by the Laker fan base. He’s a mercenary and he was treated like a mercenary. Thank for chip. But LeBron is on to the next job with the next team.

  4. Im seeing everyone has Grimes as a starter… I would bring him from the bench we need to athletic/defending wings in that starting 5 specially with the Molasses Brothers starting

  5. Lebrons Laker time was a failure, he forced roster moves such as Anthony Davis and during the past five years had 1 no playoffs, 2 1st round exits, 1 2nd round exit, and 1 conference finals exit. He was supposedly the GOAT and controlled the roster and this is what the Lakers got. Good riddance to this dude.

  6. Even with Luka healthy in the OKC series we would have been swept IMHO considering the results against OKC with Luka in the lineup during the regular season. Most of my fellow Laker fans are in denial about that. With that said, all the moves we made this offseason had to be made.

The breakup with LeBron was inevitable once we picked up Luka. It had to happen. No one is to blame. Best of luck to LeBron. Take your time making whatever decision you need to make.

Looking at the Laker’s current roster, 4 players might be gone this offseason. Bronny, Dalton, Vando and Hardy might be gone before the start of the season. We could use two starting level forwards. With that said, I’m very excited about watching this team compete.

  7. Wish We would’ve kept Rui to Start @ PF for The Next 2-3 Years. Letting Rui go will be Pelinka’s Biggest 2026 Offseason Mistake if We don’t get Kuminga!!!

    Luka/AR/Grimes/Rui/Kessler would’ve been a Nice Starting Group!!!

  8. The LeBron era as a Laker can be summed up as mismanagement after their championship year. The Westbrook trade, trading away all the picks, putting the team in a hole for the future. It started with Jeannie putting her complete trust in Pelinka.

  9. My humble opinion, it doesn’t make sense. LeBron wanted a solid #2 he could pass the torch too. AD choked. Russ choked. We get Luka & develop AR. They accept the challenge & at 41 years old you are upset that your usage is down & are 3rd option, even though you miss training camp and the first two months of season…? We love LB & of coarse on certain nights he can turn it on and be the best guy on the court. But not over 82 games + playoffs. Let’s just be reasonable. #2 we hire JJ. #3 we draft Bronny.
So you have two young guys that can carry the usage, your coach and your son. And it’s not about the $. Just want to be “happy”. Not sure what else Lakers could have done. If they offered LeBron another huge contract. Then they can’t get good players and he’s “unhappy”
Come back and play a year if it’s really to be Happy.
You want more responsibility or want to be the #1. Then pick 3-4 guys and run the second unit w your son. Or plan a line up that gives Luka rest and do it.

Be careful what you wish for. More responsibility & usage your “arthritis” might act up

  10. Bronny was a sacrifice? They drafted DK, JHS, and THT. All of those guys you need to beg and pay for a team to take off your roster. The Lakers used the 55th pick on Bronny. If you didn't draft someone usable at 17, it's not really a sacrifice that you have up your delusional next Jokic or whatever after 37 more picks were used by other teams. What exactly was the sacrifice? The only sacrifice was giving Bronny a guaranteed contact, I guess, but the Lakers have a ton of players that they don't really play. If the Lakers had 14 actual rotational players, then that might have been a sacrifice.

  11. He is a highly paid mercenary who wasnt living up to the price tag, while acting like the Lakers owed him for playing there. They drafted his trash son, who would have never been drafted unless it was to make his dad happy. Thanks for your service dont let the door hit you on the way out.

  12. Jeanie Buss' comments about Lebron said enough for me to know why they were no longer committed to building a team around him. They accommodated him as much as they could including big personnel moves such as Westbrook, which he pushed very hard along with AD'd push to trade for Westbrook. When it feel apart miserably, Lebron basically low key tried making it seem like the Lakers weren't trying to build an adequate team around him. The Westbrook trade was primarily pushed by Lebron and for him to low key point his finger at the Lakers was so wrong. Lebron's BS text about how much of an honor it was to wear the purple and gold was as plastic as a Costco water bottle. He just doesn't want to piss off more Laker fans because him and his family live here and will continue to live here in LA. He would be hated immensely as Laker fans have a lot of pride and will not let anyone come here and throw dirt on the Laker name. Lebron, shame on you for not showing the proper amount of gratitude( not this fake social media gratitude) to Jeanie. GOOD RIDDANCE.
