REDEMPTION: Orlando Magic, Paolo Banchero & Franz Wagner Confident They Are READY For More

2. If this roster is less than impressive mid-season and it's clear they're headed for mediocrity, really hope they trade for depth. In the meantime, hoping for maturity from Suggs and health for everyone but running it back is a dumb risk to take.

3. I don't agree with Weltman's work (or lack of) addressing the bench, but the Bane bet last year was a hit and I want to see the full starting five at least another year rather than breaking it up in a hurry for mediocre players.

   I hope Black has a great season worth the 20-22 milion extension he is gonna get and we can trade him for a real point guard and a solid wing next summer.

   As long as they keep improving with Paolo and Franz jumpers, the team will be good.

   We missed on some late draft picks, and thats why our depth sucks.

   Weltman has failed with depth, but you hope that your 4 point forwards and guards can elevate the other players.

7. Biggest mistake of Weltman, trading our future for Bane instead of trading for Lamelo, a cheap Trae, or a cheap White.

9. We have to run it back due to the outrageous contracts our whole team have…. Who has a tradeable contract? Franz an unhealthy injury prone guy who can't shoot for a max? Paolo a guy who can shoot 3's or ft's and lacks ball handling for a max? Suggs who has health issues and struggles w consistency shooting for 30m Bane is the most tradeable but the most valuable to us IMO if we trade Wendell what will we get back for 18m?

10. I love All of our players, but it's very hard to win when your best two players cannot shoot that's why I believe Franz and Paolo struggle I'd trade franz for Caleb Wilson right now to give us cap room and not a big drop off performance

14. I think a storm is brewing inside the Magic. Everything is coming to a crescendo. You have to walk through the dark days to get to the promised land. Everyone has something to prove and seem to be working hard to make it happen. Franz, Paolo, Black and Suggs are ready to take the next step and I think Sweeney will get them there. Bane is already there. We just need a point guard . . .

15. They People act like losing franz Wagner wasn’t THE factor in our 3-4 series loss against the pistons PMO.

    that is like if hypothetically the Knicks lost after Jalen Brunson and acting like that isn’t the reason they lost.

    Franz is an Orlando magic defensive cornerstone on a defense focused team… if injuries don’t keep us out easily ECF imo

16. The players basically told us they tuned out the coach last year. If you ever believed in the talent before this past year I’m not sure what’s changed to think they won’t be a home court team in the playoffs this year (if healthy of course). That’s true for anybody even teams that are perceived ahead of the Magic now.. What, like Kawhi, Giannis, and Embiid are bastions of health? LOL

17. Excuses Franz was hurt so we lost that tells you we don’t have enough someone one has to step up when players are injured, if we have no one to do that clearly we don’t have enough on the time !

18. Only thing that can save the Magic is if Paolo becomes a good shooter out of nowhere, so they can space the floor and get easy shots for everybody. If Paolo’s shooting splits stay the same, the offense will stay the same.

19. I agree we are going to see this season who are the true winners within the group, who took the Ls personally and who has it in them to raise their game.

21. I believe that this is the year that they start jelling as this is a m ake or break season. I also think if AB improves then Suggs will be trade bait next year unless he drastically improves.

22. If Paolo can get his 3pt percentage up to atleast 35.5% and take care of the ball better we are gonna be in the top 4 in the east BARRING HEALTH. That floor spacing will definitely help and not commiting as much turnovers will give them a huge edge. On another note if Penda really found a consistent 3 pt shot are bench is gonna be hell to deal with especially adding Vooch.

23. Man i hate that Mo wagner isn't around any longer. But being realistically level headed i understand its a business. On the flip side welcome home Vooch.
