  1. With sorber waiting in the wings to play i really don't get drafting mara but it's hard to question presti since he's pretty much the goat of nba gms in history. you have to think drafting mara was specifically with making moves to try to deal with Wemby since okc absolutely is going to be battling the spurs for the next few years. i still would rather have seen them take yaxel lindeburg who i think will have a significantly better career than mara and actually fills the only void on the roster which is at small forward since they literally don't have even one. hopefully mara proves me wrong.

  2. The only hope is that Sorber turns into a decent rotation player.
Mara has a massive bust vibe if you have been watching summer league, the OKC vids of Mara catching lobs and dunking are just a hype vid.
Terrible mottor slow to correct position on defense even with that reach, horrific free throw shooter and he has a higher centre of gravity than wemby, which will allow smaller athletic players to bully him.
Remember Presti hasn't hit in the first round since Cason wallce.
Aj was a swing he is cleary elite tallent that should of gone first round and OKC were lucky to get him at 38 originally on a 2 way.
You cant tell me Presti knew it was a swing.

  3. I like Sorber, but I don't see a guy who is ever going to be a wing. He is not a Mo Johnson type freak athlete. Hopefully he can develop a 3 point shot and become a JWill type in time Hopefully he can use that 260 pound body, and get out on the court and punish Wemby physically for 20 minutes a night as part of a rotation

  4. I hope Sorber will play good minutes or trade him. I would be very happy to see him succeed with the Thunder. You are right about Thunder fans being concerned. I would prefer Isaiah Joe over Lu Dort.

  5. Having depth at center and power forward probably help the Thunder to not worry about Hartenstein fouling out early because they got some quality bigs to come in and pick up the slack.😮
