Sixers can only sign players to vet minimums now.
– I just want all 3=James/Bruce Brown/1 New Center & waive both Terry & Walker to be at the 15 Roster Limit
– 1 New Center= either Nick Richards or Olynik
– Both Terry & Walker can be waived if need be.
– This means Sixers could possibly sign up to 3 new players to the vet minimum if they waive both Terry & Walker.
– Or the Sixers can sign 2 new players & then just waive 1 of either Terry or Walker.
– Or Sixers could just sign 1 new player then just keep Terry & Walker.
– Or the Sixers might not sign anybody else & keep both Terry & Walker & just have 14 players with 1 open roster spot
– Terry & Walker aren't guaranteed contracts until January so Sixers could waive Terry and/or Walker if need be before January.
They need a backup big man that can start for a stretch.
