12. I agree with your sentiments but I do think you’re sleeping on the development of our young guys. Also Ebuka and Cade is not a bad fit, Ebuka is the other shot creator that we need in the future. We could also make a move at the deadline for someone like KD if his price falls.

13. I do agree that the further in the offseason we get, the harder it is to actually go out and get a big name, and that worries me for the pistons. That said, from the names we’ve been rumored to be interested in, it seems like the front office does understand that additional perimeter offense is needed, and it seems like the Duren deal is (frustratingly) holding everything up. Maybe it’s copium but i feel like they’ll at least make a trade for a 2 or 3 who can actually create offense, even if it’s not one of the big names we’re all hoping for

20. Realistically, I disagree. Cade will be 25 this year. His prime is still 3 years away. The avg age of the last 25 finals mvps is 28. We’re in no rush to make a move that would cripple our flexibility throughout his prime. A lot of our moves have freed up our books and added movable salaries for trades down the line. Holland, Ausar, and Okorie will all flourish with a few years of development, and Duren isn’t worth 40Ms and ruining our cap space if that’s what he costs, so our FO isn’t wrong for hardballing him. The new second apron just makes it much more complicated than criticizing a team for not taking the big swing. No one wants our FRPs, we’re gonna be decent for a few years at least, and our core players are too vital to trade. We don’t know what calls are being made and who is worth what at the end of the day. It’s easy to look at this blockbuster postseason and say we’re losing, but I don’t think we’ve made any terrible blunder by being patient. Cade is making 50M, 60M in the final year. He will be more than happy until we can build the right roster around him.

23. They didn't lose much. Duran is just making a fool of himself thinking he deserves more than Wemby is wild. Like brother. You aren't even great at defense or offense. You are just sorta okay at both.
