At Santa Clara, he was the best player, on a team that wasn't as talented. He played really well against that competition.
When he played higher competition, he struggled a bit. What people fail to realize, his teammate level didn't rise with him.
Now at summer league, he's the best player on the team (of the guys who played), and his teammate level are higher than his college team, and he was dominating.
His development will be seen at an exponential rate, even if the stats don't reflect it.
5:35 – he can get away with being very aggressive attacking the ball without fouling to stop a miscue, because of all the defense behind him.
He basically gets into a rover position at that point.
Will a ball handler want to drive Graves and negative the "Bermuda Triangle" that is Scottie, CMB, Kawhi?
