I guess we’ll just have to see how it turns out. I don’t have a problem with resigning Williams… It’s a very tradeable contract. But that Bridges trade is a head scratcher on & off the court. We gave up A TON (of league-wide agreed upon value) of value to MAYBE get us a couple wins in the 1st rd. I don’t want us to pay him $25M+/yr going forward taking mins from our prospects.
We woulda likely been a lil worse but running out Rasheer at 4 & trading Grayson/Royce for a few 2nds may have been the better longer term course of action. That ‘33 FRP could have then been used in conjunction with JG or Williams to get a starting PG with promise (or move up in a draft to acquire him) to lead this squad for years.

Same Suns fans moaning about Bridges as the New "Thug" had absolutely no words or complaints about Britney Griner of the Mecury who was charged with the same exact crime but was celebrated for YEARS after beating her wife to with-in an inch of her life. Even after she was detained with illegal drugs in Russia the fanbase still defended her. The hypocrisy and manufactured rage is over the top. If Griner was granted a second chance after serving her time, then Bridges deserves the same. Goose Gander.
