8. Gotta be honest Mike… for me, you are one of the "voices" of the Portland Trail Blazers. For 12 months of the year it's you and a couple of local sports radio personalities that capture my RIP CITY attention. Maybe its an apples and oranges comparison, but your content is as important to me as who does the game day duties for the team.

    And here's the thing. Sports are fickle. Margins are often small and stuff happens. You never know when even the best built teams catch some bad luck and things don't go to plan.

Then now we move on to see it happen at a local level with this Trump-loving cheapskate Tom Dundon. These pieces of shit don't care about anything but money. Greedy Tom is screwing over our community while also destroying the reputation of the team, the city and the league. You sorta alluded to this but it will be much harder to root for this team next year when it's controlled by someone us Portlanders don't respect because he doesn't respect us or the team. 23. I think fans are a lot more interested in winning than the broadcast team. That said I watched zero games last year. I got interested again when we traded for Ja Morant.

    The HC contract concerns me more than the broadcast team.

    Let’s see if he’s cheap when facing resigning Deni…

25. I think the mistake he's making is that the blazers are not the hurricanes. The blazers have been the primary representation of the city on the national and international sports landscape for 50 years, he is fucking with that representation and that relationship. I would be so happy if we won a championship and I would be happy to run him out of town on a rail the next morning. He hates Portland! Why would winning make me care less about what an asshole he is?

29. I would say if he’s way low in player payroll, that’s the test…. Front office matters, players matter. Not sure how much a 200k radio guy matters. It is an odd play… save nickels and take the publicity hit.

    To me this feels a lot like destorying a mom and pop shop to open a Walmart or Amazon warehouse… there may be good benefits but you don’t feel food about it.

    But I’m also someone who never fully got over losing Mike Barrett and never thought KC was a good fit for Portland even though he is a GOAT in broadcasting.

42. I think if this wasn't Dame's come back year, I would just stop watching the Blazers. I hate that every story is about the owner.

43. Michael Holton deserves to continue his job. He's great. I hope there are creative ways to support him and others while poking fun and shaming Dundon publicly during nationally televised games. I hope fans use their free speech rights to their fullest while staying classy.
