Stop normalizing this thinking that losing Watson is ok. It's not. He's the only guy that's young, fast and plays defense. We need 7 of these guys and the Denver media is just resigned to the fact that ownership is not going to sign him. You guys should be livid if that's the case. But you've already accepted it and will never hold Josh accountable.

If they don't resign him, I hope Jokic leaves after the season. It'll just be another wasted year of his career. With Watson a runback could work given health doesn't screw them again. If not, it's just a doomed team both in the present and future.

Don't really understand why we're discussing Watson Sign and trades when it's been the nuggets main objective to keep him this off-season. Silly
The fact that they rebuffed trade offers for Cam, in ABSOLUTELY NO WAY means they aren't trading him anyways. The trade rebuffs were weeks ago by the way when things were still much more up in the air with everything going on so it makes perfect sense for Denver to not rush the cam trade. It's coming very soon once Watson finally realizes he's fucked and no one is offering and he will have to take what Denver gives him. Once that happens, Cam is out for a smaller contract in return and they will then aggressively push for a Zeke trade along with draft compensation and then they will finally be under the 2nd apron.

I think, one thing people are seriously overlooking about Watson is, he was good in the one month of Jan, and thereafter was injured most of time. There were few games he played in between with Jokic, when he wasn’t that good efficiency wise at all. In comparison to Cam and non-injured Braun, Watson is seriously unproven. Everyone is vouching for him based on one month of performance against mid-teams, and not with nuggets first team. I like watson, but if it means trading Cam for peanuts and then paying Watson with that, I am not up for that.
