1. Yeah they still have a few holes, but to me Ron Holland and Ausar Thompson have to do a little bit more on offense for this team to go further. Love their energy and defense but they also have to be more consistent on offense. And so far it seems like it won't happen. Hope I'm wrong.

6. I’m concerned already, they didn’t do enough to compete with other teams while they made big moves and the Pistons didn’t. They have no secondary scoring option to Cade knowing he needs more help! Duren wants a max contract but he’s not worth the max after how he played in the playoffs, Jenkins or Robinson can’t be a number two guy to Cade Cunningham and you’re right King, they’re role players. They didn’t do enough to get far in the playoffs.

7. Man I’ve said this over and over.. The culture and formula is set with this regime: we have the drafted superstar.. we drafted surrounding good pieces to establish the brand. Pistons teams built contenders through drafts, making low risk moves on guys that are overlooked, and being opportunistic with trades.. we never attracted big name FAs or made big swing trades. Billups was a backup pg in Minnesota and was competing with Chucky Atkins for the starting PG when he got here. Ben Wallace was a throw in for a sign and trade because Hill wanted to leave. Mark Aguirre Rasheed Wallace fell outta favor with their teams. Prince, Rodman, Dumars, Salley, Okur drafted supporting talent. Please relax. It just takes time when you’re building this way and these guys are still babies. The Knicks won the championship this year with a bunch of old vets between 29-31. SGA was turning 27 last year. You allow your in house talent to improve and build chemistry while you stay diligent in the market. Mistakes will be made but you stay the course. I know most yall don’t like it but that’s just how it is and that’s how it’s always been.

15. No, I don’t think this roster is complete, we haven’t broke the bank with a star player along side Cade that can fill gaps in the roster. I want Derozan, go and get him.

King is 1k right , I'm so tired of all these podcasts telling us to pay this guy 100-150 million and maybe he'll develop a midrange this season or pay that guy 200-300 million and maybe he'll do the same and that he's young and probably will do better in the playoffs next time 😂 All that money and no questions that we have been asking will be answered. Would've loved Drummond but oh well, get Nick Richards for 7 million and sign him for a couple of years and at least look at Ty Jerome who's on an expiring contract with 2 years left , but is averaging about 18 ,4,4 and is making less than 10 mil a year, and grab another power forward, because y'all didn't trust Holland in the playoffs. So I'm not trusting him to start a position he's not used to playing.

21. Nope based on what other teams did to get better and what we didn’t do. JD come back and then the locker room chemistry is messed up and other teammates might see that. He might turn into a James Harden not wanting to give effort total waste of an off season

25. One of our biggest weaknesses was our lack of spacing due to a lack of shooting.

    We now have no less than four shooters who shoot better than 40% from three. That’s more room for Cade, Duren, and Ausar to operate.

    I think continuity and internal improvement from Cade, Duren, Ausar, and Daniss is going to raise our floor.

    I think higher usage from Paul Reed is going to give us more chaos on defense with the way Reed is able to blitz ball handlers. Not to mention the way he comes off the bench ready to score, rebound, etc.

    I think we’re positioned to compete and develop guys for the postseason while also being positioned to make a deal at the trade deadline that moves the needle.

    I’m guardedly optimistic

26. Well Bud…. With the roster as assembled, the starting 2 guard is not here yet… Which made it an underwhelming off season…

27. Most of the roster is in their age of improvement. Ausar, Ron, Daniss, Cade, even Joe is only 27. Collins maybe 27 or 8. Paul Reed the same. So, they only have one guy at 30 or above and that's Duncan. He isn't showing any age effect. Assuming Duren ends up back in the lineup they are still young and improving across the roster. I dont expect much from Okorie this year, but we shall see. The Pistons do need to improve the turnover rate, especially in the halfcourt. Fast break t.o.s dont lead to points as often. The Pistons shouldn't shorten their rotation in the playoffs. That hair on fire change up was one of their advantages. Ron hardly playing was a little heartbreaking. In the playoffs you should give teams more to worry about, not less.

29. I mean let’s be real, 60 wins was a lot for that roster last year. A lot aligned for them last year. They benefited from an easy schedule especially early on and they built momentum. Also injuries weren’t a big problem like they were for other teams. If wins were strictly based on talent I think we are more of a 52ish win team. The roster is mid at best beside Cade and Ausar and arguably JD. Other guys have potential but it’s important to also be grounded in reality. After being told that Stanley Johnson, Tony Mitchel, Killian Hayes, Sekou Doumboya was our future, I’m weary of hyping up players with “potential” gotta look at the facts.
