Chris, stick to basketball. Getting correct facts about what happened in Carolina, would be better
Dundon seemingly goes out of his way to make the consumers of his team not want to support them. He really sounds like Bob Castellini or Robert Nutting when speaking about being in a smaller market. It really is a shame, because Portland has been a great NBA city. Portland, San Antonio, and Salt Lake City were NBA-only cities for so long, but there is a level of appreciation for how well those fan bases support them over the decades. The only end game that could justifiy such a villainous approach is to move the team, but to where? Why would the other owners give up $5 billion in expansion money that can shared among them so this newbie can pay less to profit more at their expense to get to one of those two? Where else could his act work?
Clearly, he bought the team for business purposes only for business interest only.
Its a shame because the blazers had a good thing going last year
Kevin is the man !
He will be calling sonic games soon
I think it should be mentioned that Kevin Calabro is 70 years old now and chose not to take a pay cut. He was not fired but as much as I like him. Time to retire. I believe he also didn't want to call many road games either. Wheels had the same issue when they let him go as well. When Covid hit, Calabro was close to retiring. I'm sure he'll get a gig with the Sonics to call home games in the future. Travis Demers will call Blazer games.
ET is the guy to speak on what an overpay it takes to get a middling FA to PFX 😅😅😅
He’s not getting “cheaper” he’s tying up loose ends before he moves the team out of Oregon.
The owner is so fricken CHEAP!!! I blame the NBA for this, to allow him to purchase the Blazers was a BIG mistake.
Tom Dundon is just making it so that Portland gives up on the Blazers. Tom is far too cheap, and too stubborn. I wonder why the other NBA owners wanted this a–whole in their midst.
I'm hearing Lil Yachty in Evan Turner, 😆
