DETROIT PISTONS Have a Jalen $200 Million Problem (Mackinaw Island Wedding Trip)
The Detroit Pistons have a massive decision looming with Jalen Duren’s next contract.
On the surface, paying Duren seems like an easy decision. But once you factor in Cade Cunningham’s max extension, a future extension for Ausar Thompson, and the NBA’s first apron rules, the conversation becomes much more complicated.
BIG thanks to “@FromHalfCourt” for SAVING this video with edit magic!
In this video, I break down:
* Why the first apron matters more than ever
* A realistic projection of the Pistons’ future payroll
* How a large Jalen Duren extension could impact roster flexibility
* Whether Detroit could still trade for another star
* Why this decision could shape the franchise for years to come
Do you think the Pistons should pay Jalen Duren close to the max, or should they prioritize long-term flexibility?

They can’t get another star if they’re paying Duren 40+ million. Ausar is much more important to keep. So sounds like Duren has to go if people really want another star and don’t believe this core can win.

Nice suit 💯 I hope they hurry up and sign a center now as Insurance. We already missed the chance to sign forward Spencer jones to OKC, but Nick Richards would be a decent and affordable backup plan before LeBron or Lakers do it first.
He doesn’t deserve a max deal. He hasn’t earned it.
