  11. Anyone who loves soccer will know that Real Madrid has on multiple occasions tried to build these super teams, yet only when they gave a more balanced team with less ego do they win championships.

  12. Yes, a lot of talent. But too many variables for my liking. Is it Maxey's team? If Embiid returns to form, does that make waves for Maxey? And although I'm sure Maxey is happy to have JB from a talent upgrade standpoint, JB is not known for keeping his feelings to himself, regardless of who they might upset. Now you drop the embodiment of entitlement into mix (LeBron) who plays less defense than ever, and this is a potential nightmare of a locker room. Never mind the health factor variable. Maybe they'll win it all. But history says otherwise.

  13. Definitely will be a Top 5 in the league with enough knowledgeable veterans who understands what can be accomplished. The perfect chance to Run and Shoot or punish in half court sets. Nick Nurse should be drooling

  28. Lebron would be in Boston if we hadn't traded JB. With JT JB and the smartest basketball player in the league Lebron we would be title favorites right now we would win it all next year. Love how the Celtics media were so upset after the trade they knew it was a disaster couldn't beleive it yet flipped started defending Brad and ownership. What happened Brad saying optionality 50 times convinced you it was somehow a smart trade ? Most these media guys that cover the Celtics are a complete joke they kiss ass's they want to mantain good relationships with Celtics brass instead of telling the truth about how fucked we are with this private equity ownership. It is really pathetic!! The JB trade is the worst trade ever it set us back many years JT probably will not be here long term because we will suck 76ers will win 60 + games on way to NBA Finals. JB is gonna absolutely cook us next year and I am here for it guy got totally screwed. If anyone beleives a word Bill Chisim says they are fools Steve Pagliuca should be the owner of this team we would be sitting pretty. This Celtics franchise is in a lot of trouble who the fuck cares if we are capable of having a descent regular season the goal in Boston is always supposed to be championship or bust !!

  30. I have been disappointing in the amount of "cope" my fellow Celtics fans have been showing this off season.
    The constant downplaying of how good Jaylen really is, the constant glazing of the guys left on the team, and the revisionist history about Jaylen being some sort of locker room cancer is just weak sh*t.
    Jaylen was a great teammate, he proved over and over he is a winner and will do what it takes to win.
    The Sixers may have issues with injuries, but if they stay healthy they will be a MENACE!
    The Celtics better hope that Tatum is half the leader Jaylen was next year, cuz if he checks out (like he has a tendency to do) this team is at best a treadmill team.

Record breaking amount of cope going on in this video, sorry to tell you this but the Sixers are going to be dominate and JB is going to rise up and become the overall leader of the team, and JT will be exposed to the highest degree this season, ya he might have decent numbers but as far as leading the team goes they will most likely crash and burn, JB was the super glue holding this team together and JT is selfish and not nearly the leader that JB is, I know people will cry about this opinion but you all will all agree by playoff time

  41. This is Lebron's schtick. He wants to be the guy who brings the chip. He said he would have gone for the Knicks if they had not won. Now that they have, he's not interested anymore cuz he wont get that credit. There's a certain level of narcissm in this decision not factoring in that many of the teams he's gone to are stacked. It's not just about winning the chip….it's winning the chip because of me. As for Brad Stevens…what a dumas move trading JB. THat decision alone is dumas. There just no need to do it. JB's contract isn't up for a few years. You couldn't wait until there is a good trade for him? Then you go on to trade him for a bag of chips…what the hell? And as a bonus, you trade your MVP candidate to the same conference who made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs….triple WTF! Then you open up Lebron going to the team you just traded with! Brad must hate JB that much to ignore all that
