  1. I agree that the Spurs did a very good job this offseason adding some nice pieces for the present and the future. However, I think the biggest source of improvement next season will simply come from the continued development of the young guys they already had. The Finals run was great for experience for both the players and for a Mitch Johnson.

  2. The only thing I don’t like about their offseason was the Harrison Barnes contract, it was a great idea to Re-Sign him but $8M for a guy who averaged 2ppg on 33% FG and 23% 3pt in the playoffs and we could also see him regress throughout the season. He is worth $5M at the absolute max

  3. I wouldn't call this Spurs offseason "perfect", but I would definitely call it sensible. Spurs didn't make a big splash but addressed their needs without breaking the bank and took a gamble at #20 cuz at that pick you usually won't find a needle mover. Quaintance has that potential so the gamble was worth it & Spurs can afford to wait & get him healthy. Spurs simply didn't make any obvious mistakes as of today. Now just have to wait & see how it all turns out.

  4. I’d give it an F. We didn’t sign anyone new except for an aging role player while every other team are making adjustments to their rosters specifically to counter us. I predict we will be a 50 win team this year and get bounced in the first or second round of the playoffs

  5. I’m super happy that the spurs have looked at their weaknesses and addressed them. A lot of teams make a championship run and say that since they have already made it, they don’t need to improve but that is a trap that can cause teams to fail. I’m excited to see how we improve beyond this as our guys develop
