I honestly dont know if the Mavs are trying to make the playin this season or if they want it to be a developmental season and are just waiting on good offers to trade Gafford, PJ, and Naji. The roster is somewhat confusing. There are a lot of developmental players on the roster, who tbh shouldn't play a lot because the veterans in front of them are better players.

As far as what type of record we have next season will depend on how healthy we shay. Sure there will be injuries here and there, but as long as everyone plays most of the season, I really think we can be a 42 win team if not more! Now lively will most likely miss half the season(I could be wrong), but I still think we can achieve this without him! If you look at so many games last year where we were in it and could have won, we did that with Cooper Flagg, Max Christie and a bunch of bench players. Now weโre adding back Kyrie and at some point Lively with hopefully a healthier PJ! We can do something!
Coach May has said many times that the Mavs will overachieve this season. I think the Mavs will make the playoffs this season. Good coaches like May find ways to win.
D-Live, PJ and Naji still! I hope D-Live bounces back, because thatโs the sort of career ending injury for big men!
