8. I disagree. The team IS better NOW. Losing JB is a huge addition by subtraction. Pics or no pics, this team is better balanced and will be less predictable. Losing JB helps this team to change offensive identity and maximize the play making potential of JT and spread the ball around so that we become less predictable .More difficult to defend. I don’t understand why people don’t see that. JB’s strengths come at a cost that in my opinion is higher than the value of his strengths. This team will flourish without him.

14. There's probably two ways of looking at this situation from JT's perspective. One is that the prime years of JT have just been wasted. Two – this is Kobe starting his post Shaq years on the Lakers. As long as JT can channel that Mamba mentality I am going with number 2. I just hope he will choose to channel the skillset of Magic Johnson rather than Kobe's.

18. I felt pretty torn with my allegiance after the JB trade because I like the man a lot. With Lebron joining all of a sudden JB starts looking like Anakin Skywalker. I guess it must be those LeEmperor vibes…

19. I'm a baby-boomer Celtics fan, but, a lot of 'Green-Tinted glasses' analysis by Jake and Spooney here. This current Celts roster is very questionable. As examples, White is definitely on the downward spiral and Hauser has proven he is not the answer. Pritchard is good, but, not consistent enough. They desperately need more athleticism. Hugo does show nice potential, but, not sold on Walsh and Baylor really making a difference(nor Joe as a coach, especially in the playoffs). As for Philly, I think they and The Knicks are clearly the class in The East. I hope I'm wrong!
