  1. They basically replaced one problem with another (frankly an even worse problem). They have one forward. One. Jaden can't play SF and PF at the same time. They now have a billion guards on the team, including 3 making $22 million or more. If they think that someone like TJ can shift to SF, that's quite a bold statement. Write this down, the Wolves won't make it past the first round (if they even make the playoffs) without acquiring a true forward.

  2. The issue with guys like Durant and LeBron is they remember the wolves being the joke of the nba for years, so there's likely some residuum of that on this franchise with old guys like that.

  3. Our power forward situation really doesn't matter for the regular season. Also the last two years our PF was literally the BIGGEST problem for us against OKC and SA. I like the idea of Jaden, Clark, TJ, Joan, Lyles, Josh Green whoever out of those guys can play the 4

  4. Not sure I’d label a team having Embiid as a top 3 player as a super team that dude is the epitome of S-A-W-F-T. Also not going to consider any 42+ year old lebron team with him as a top 3 player as being a super team either

  5. I don’t get people who are negative about the team. Can it go badly? Sure? But lamelo is a top talent in the league when healthy and wolves still have Jaden Ayo TSJ and Beringer. They have a lot of talent. This team can be a lot of fun again this season.

  6. Anyone who actually thought we were getting LeBron was fooling themself. It was nice to be in the discussion but our reputation around the NBA as a place to live is about as bad as it gets, which is why we cherish guys like Ant who rep our state even though it's cold as hell.

  7. It's going to take some time for the team to blend, but they should be ready come playoff time. Looking at year 2 or 3 for the biggest jump for this team. Obi Toppin would be a great addition. Big Event is in Chicago, Wednesday thru Sunday, Nation Sports Collectors Convention, over 100,000 will attend the event.

  8. I swear only the NBA keeps perpetuating the "cold" Midwest narrative anymore. The NFL constantly celebrates having long standing franchises in states like Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, even Ohio. Even the Chiefs are the NFL darling despite being in a shit hole in Missouri. Meanwhile the NBA would looooove to just have 30 teams between California, Florida, and I guess NYC
