How Real is the Caleb Wilson Hype?

9. I'm a Hawks fan, but I lived in Chicago for 27 years and saw many Hawks-Bulls matchups in the United Center. I only say this to say I'm not a Bulls homer. That being said, I went to Summer League and saw Caleb and I have follwed his career and his makeup. He is a franchise changing talent. Congratulations! My lady is an ardent, dedicated Bulls fan, and I know you guys can be a tad pessimistic at times, but you have a golden god in this guy!

10. Now I know I had a pretty extreme hot take lol but in my opinion I think people expect that the team is gonna win games purely cause we got one possible future superstar. It takes the whole team and I think if you wanna hype up his personal play thats totally fine but dont judge him based on team wins.

21. Got to about 2:13 b4 I made this comment. No way are we going to temper our expectations. Get ur popcorn and enjoy the show. Caleb will go through his fair share of rookie mistakes and endure his Welcome to the NBA moments, but I believe Caleb has it. The reason is his improved shooting after 3 months of practice. The Kid's a sniper. He'll be fine ias a pro. Bulls Nation has his back.

    The truth? It's just more outlets and more need for media and so forth and so proportionally he's getting the same amount as others would have in the past.

I think his hype will be real just as the others in the top 8 can’t really remember the order but they all looked good i don’t think comparing the rookies to the greats is a bad thing it’s just showing who they reminds people of. I have no problem with Caleb and what he said about being better than Jordan no matter what you do you should always strive to be the best at it idc what occupation it is. I think Caleb will do good and develop fine in excited to see the new line up and future for the bulls #SeeRed

31. With his length and athleticism I feel like he has the potential to be like another bulls two way legend… Scottie Pippen. If I am a bulls player development coach I am showing him Pippen highlights and saying model your game on this. I feel like Pippen has become severely underrated historically for how great of a total player he was. I don't think Caleb has show himself to be anywhere near the passer but in terms of just pure two way disruptiveness I think it would definitely be someone to look at molding his game after and then adding his on flavor to it.

35. They just gotta teach him to take care of his body when he’s landing. But he’s going to change the franchise. Giddey, Norm, C Dub and Clax on the floor together with him??? The Bulls just have to commit to the process. No more trading away the few players the Bulls turned into elite players.

    If we were looking at a bulls team without the young talent and the play making ability they have around him? Definitely we would have to temper our excitement. And we still do. They’re gonna need a couple seasons to grow as a team. But what a timeline we have! And the defensive potential Bulls been missing.
