The Warriors Are Wasting Steph Curry On Purpose

1. Mike Duneleavy is trash. I’ve been saying it since he got the GM job. He is obviously not qualified. Joe Lacob needs to calm his ego too, he thinks he knows it all.

2. I agree with most of your takes, but saying steph cant be the best player is horrible, put the right team around him and i promise you he can still do it

3. The Front Office Had Too Many Missed Opportunities Like For Example Drafting Wiseman Over LaMelo, Drafting Kuminga, Not Offering Podz In Trades, And They Missed Out On Acquiring Many Star Players Like Giannis, Lauri, Bron, AD, & Jaylen Brown But Jimmy Tearing His ACL Really Messed Up Their Chances To Compete, Thats why The Yaxel Pick This Year Made No Sense…..

4. The Warriors organization is milking Steph to death. LOL

5. So you’re saying you would rather see Steph stay on the Golden State Warriors his entire career in the last five years hasn’t done an effing thing wow that’s so exciting. Such an exciting take.

6. What’s the difference between lakers not wanting to build around LeBron ? And warriors choosing not to go all in building around curry in the twilight of his career ? Steph has earned to right to finish his career in warriors uniform even if he sees the writing on the wall already . It happens to the best of them , just the reality of all good players .

7. They’re using Steph’s loyalty SS an excuse.

8. the front office is actually targeting the play in or barely missing the playoffs cus they get a better draft pick. they do not give a fuck about curry anymore beyond ticket sales

9. Draymond has shown he’s willing to take a pay cut I think they didn’t want to trade jimmy and gave him that contract because he would take a pay cut Steph would take one for another ring I think there plan is to go into next off-season and try to bring KD back since he’s going to have a player option and fill out the roster from there especially if the rockets lose in the 1st or 2nd round again I think there’s a 0% chance KD would resign with them. I think bron taking a pay cut to go to Philly will set the precedent for all these old guys that haven’t been real contenders for a while that are still really good.

10. No one gets there shot off as quick as Steph

11. Maybe they are trying but the deal just doesn’t go through it is what it is. Stop pouting

12. Warriors are not wasting Steph, because steph is their MVP and as their MVP, he's gonna do everything to win. Not to himself but the same with his teammates.

13. The only way to make lemonade out of this batch of lemons is to trade all the expiring at the deadline. KP, Butler, and Draymond should have real value to contenders like Detroit, Denver, OKC, and San Antonio. It’s time to break out the Danny Ainge/Sam Presti blueprints for rebuilding and start stockpiling future assets.

Steph can stay as long as he wants. He’s earned whatever he wants for the end of his career. Maybe watching Butler help San Antonio/Detroit win a title or Draymond lifting the Nuggets/Wolves/Thunder to the Finals will help convince Steph to play for a championship contender again. Hopefully he asks for a trade and takes the decision out of the Warriors hands, followed by a Kerr retirement. Surrounding him with bad contracts and the draft picks that accompanied them when they’re dumped for the Warriors vets might even encourage Steph to ask out.

14. This is why I really hate that fans think so highly of a player of Steph's caliber staying with 1 team for their entire career, especially in today's game. Guys have the ability to play at an elite level longer than ever before. The 2nd apron has made it so so hard to build around aging star when they had to mortgage they future to try to win titles. GS just doesn't have the assets and the restrictions to the 2nd apron make it nearly impossible to get these guys the help they need. Ultimately, this is what Steph wants though. He hadls done it all and he cares about staying in GS more than anything else. It sucks that will never see him compete for a title ever again unless her leaves but this is what it is now

15. What can they do? Trade? No. If free agents like lebron don't want to go there you can't make them.

16. Gambling ad stops at 2:55 ..

17. They can’t put him in position to pass LeBron in championships. It’s bad for lebrons legacy and anything bad for his legacy is bad for business. It’s sad but there’s no way the front office is this bad when you have a player this great. I think he’s the victim of some politics BS

18. The warriors have done more than most to prolong that championship window how are they wasting the last couple years?

19. I think he’s resting on his laurels. I think he considers himself to be atop the average list of best point guard of all time. That’s the only reason I can think for why he simply doesn’t care about competing anymore. LeBron going to Philly signaled he thinks he has work to do to reach his legacy goal; Curry staying in GS signals he thinks he’s reached it.

20. steph took the money, he has no room to complain.
