3. The things Casey and Devin say about Curry would be right in 2023. But 3 years later, Curry is way more subject to serious injuries and in 25-26, you could see that he wasn’t the Curry of the 24 Olympics most of the year anymore. Curry is not reliable anymore. He knows it’s probably over contrary to LeBron James who has never got any serious injury. Look at Curry’s stats and efficiency all year long. Vassell and Fox are way more reliable and valuable than 26 Curry. The problem is that old superstars have a hard time to look at themselves in the mirror as athletes in a fully honest way. Michael Jordan could. Guys like Curry, James Harden or LeBron James and probably even Giannis have a hard time to do it.

7. The spurs are not dumb. They will not trade future 1st round picks for Curry, because like Curry those future 1st round picks will be gone and so will Wemby’s future 1st round draft teammates. Wemby will be left with 2nd and 3rd round drafted players. Don’t forget tanking is no longer controlled enough for teams to try it to draft high.🤦‍♂️

9. Of course you do it! You do not need Curry to tons of playing time. You have Castle and Harper too. His experience and shooting is huge plus! Curry plays better then most young player! Think how Wembanyama Castle and Harper can learn from him too.

12. Guys, if your matching salaries and adding in draft picks, the combination that works is not Fox + Devin Vassell. Devin makes too much. Curry is worth $62M. Fox + Vassell is worth $76M. Fox + Keldon though is worth $67M so it’s a much more even swap in trade value numbers wise.

    Fox + Keldon Johnson + draft picks works for me. I think Keldon is going to lose minutes to Carter Bryant anyway as Bryant improves since Bryant is a much better defender.

    The Spurs have a ton of second round picks. Something like 16-18 over the next 7 years. I don’t think we have to give up that many first round picks as we can throw in a bunch of second round picks too.

    Besides, we just found JaKobi and Maliq in the second round. These are two young guys that look like are going to be steals in this recent draft. Listening to the way Corliss Williamson and Brian Wright talked about at Summer League lets us know that the coaching staff is high on both and sees both as future rotation pieces.
