Can Zach LaVine Help a Contender? | NBA Podcast
Could Zach LaVine be the next big name to hit the market?
Wes Goldberg, Matt Moore and Haize react to a report that the Sacramento Kings have told LaVine he isn’t guaranteed a role despite opting into his $49 million contract, debating whether a buyout makes sense and which contenders should be interested. Then they shift to Golden State, where new reporting suggests the Warriors also passed on a chance to acquire Jaylen Brown before striking out on Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James. Did the Warriors miss another opportunity, and should Steph Curry start thinking about finishing his career somewhere else?
Finally, the crew heads into The Rotation Lab to build the Charlotte Hornets’ opening-night lineup after trading LaMelo Ball, examining who takes over the offense, how the frontcourt fits together, and whether Charlotte has enough playmaking to stay competitive.

Zach Lavine? This could've been a text message.
No I don’t think he can unfortunately. As a Timberwolves fan I am glad that he has had a good career and made good money, but he has never proven himself to be someone that plays winning basketball.
Hornets!!
Any team with a PG, and quality O. He would help Nugs, or Lakers.
Would not send him to one of these five out teams, where everyone just takes turns trying to drive and kick.
Ham also said he was told by the Kings would not buyout Lavine.
Klutch player, going to the sixers if waived. Playing for the min to stack the deck as usual in LeBum/Rich teams. Then get everyone paid the next year.
Hornets will need to sign Westbrook to be good this year. None of the current guys can create for another person
Alonzo Mourning left and got a ring off the bench at the end of his career. Ray Allen got another ring with Miami in his twilight. Kevin Love got to the finals with the Heat. Gary Payton like they said. Dwight Howard got a ring with Lebron at the end of his career. Can go on and on.
Lavine to Miami makes all the sense in the world
How good will Steph look without Diamond?
Matt Moores voice is like scratching a chalkboard
That kalsky guy want to be right in argument so bad. "and first round playoff loss… " that is not a mic drop
Zach would go to either Miami or GSW , And Jrue would go to Philly
Zach Levine is a starter in this league. He’s a really good offensive player and a questionable defensive player. All of his basketball situations have not been the greatest. That’s why he’s frowned upon.
Curry to Spurs 😮🎉 that would be awesome
Can he help? No but he’s an excellent expiring contract lol.
Kings are not waiving him or buying out.
