James Edwards Hits Five Straight Faders to Start Game 2 of the Finals
June 7, 1990 – James Edwards stood tall as the unsung piece of the Detroit Pistons’ repeat in 1990. After losing Rick Mahorn to the expansion draft, Edwards stepped into the Pistons’ starting lineup, emerging as the team’s third leading scorer behind Joe Dumars and Isiah Thomas.
When the vibes were right, Edwards’ fadeaway jumper was nearly unstoppable. In Game 2 of the 1990 NBA Finals, Edwards employed that maneuver on at least seven occasions, including on the Pistons’ first five possessions of the game. In all, Edwards finished with 26 points on 12-of-23 shooting in a 106-105 overtime loss. It would the Pistons’ only loss of the series.

Could still hit this move with the 96 Bulls
It'd be good if a current Pistons center would develop a move like this.
He might be worth a max contract.
James Edwards was a friend of mine who used to come to our restaurant in Park City. Really nice guy.
