  1. I feel not every player need to be a good 3 point shooter!! He's amazing getting to the rim! And we're gonna need some like him to stop runs if it happens!!

  2. Absolutely horrific extension, can’t shoot and can’t defend at an elite level as a wing/gaurd. I’m so sick of having to debate people on this issue for 10 hours, player like this never end up being valuable playoff players. Idiot front office

  3. Im not expecting Naji to be anything more than what he is and I’m fine with that! He is a really good 2nd team player that can have flashes of looking like a starter. I love the extension!

  4. Tbh najis contract is well deserved despite his three point inconsistency…. Tbh for me flagg needs to make a BIG LEAP this year for me to validate all these moves. Also flash need to hit his threes better for me to be convinced his the next biggest mav

  5. Big overpay. I don’t like the fit with the lack of 3 point shooting either. Was hoping they were going to move him while he was still on a good contract. First move of the offseason I really don’t like

  6. This is huge W getting him for this money, this dude came for under 10 mil the hoop with Luka&Kyrie, he outplayed that contract by a mile even at some point playing PG, that's why I was thinking he might ask for PJ contract money and since he's 29 is probably last big contract he's gonna get.
I'm not sure how he's gonna fit with this new young team, and because his value is high right now, wasn't sure that Mavericks gonna keep him.

  7. At the end of the day, it is a very tradable contract if the team decides to move off him later down the line. Washington, Gafford, and now Marshall add up to around 60 mill. Which could be used to get a running mate for Flagg down the line.

  8. I live Naji and I love that he’s signed. Like I said previously, he’s the ONLY person who was consistent for coop. It was he and coop as the Batman and robin, and on many nights if not most, NAJI WAS BATMAN. All those nights of heartbreaking losses, it was coop and Naji leading the way. Now that Naji can play his role and not be the 1st or 2nd option on this team, he will thrive. Whether he runs with the starters or the bench unit, he will galvanize those troops. The team loves Naji, and most importantly, COOP LOVES NAJI in the same way Luka lived PJ. Naji was the enforcer this year he was the one when we were getting beat down, he made sure we punched back in moments where coop may not have been ready to take that charge. I think najis dawg mentality and being the first to publicly stand by coop during his low, that really affected coops growth in my opinion . Those two clearly bonded in a way this past season and I’m glad to see him still here. Naji wa the first to pledge allegiance to the Flagg, and it showed on the floor. He was the one putting that battery in coops bac. When coop has he an Kai on the floor, my God beware. Yall can sleep if yall want, I’m loving this roster. I think we are gonna make some noise in a way people don’t expect

  9. You know Christie was probably offered a similar deal and declined it.
It’s likely they might be headed for a split.
He’s the right age but clearly wasn’t as productive as Naji.
Time for Dallas to make a deal.
They just have too many good players but not that one truly great player.
Still pissed they didn’t get in on the Jaylan brown deal given how little he went for.

  10. Now reinvest time in PJ & Gafford and let’s roll into the season and see what we have before we decide if we need to move guys for a guard
