  7. Is bona a good nba player? Probably not, no. am I 100% confident that we could pluck a center out of FA that would immediately come in and not only be better in skill, but also mesh with the players we have, play selflessly, and provide value at his spot? Also no. Nick Richards is the BPA there and I won’t argue that he is better than bona, but it’s always a risk

  8. If a Luka/Trae Young archetype had Bona as their rim running center, he’d look immensely different. Adding more tip end talent/ high IQ players (most importantly Bron) will definitely highlight Bona’s strengths more this year

  10. Bona is shit, don’t try and cope on him. All he is athletic, everything else is shit. No footwork, no hands, no iq on offense or defense. He doesnt even hustle. The only thing he goes for is gamble blocks. Other than that he completely ruins the game, for every good play he makes, he immediately follows it up with 3-4 bad plays usually literally the next play

  11. His athleticism is out the gate, he plays hard and I have no doubt he'll lcean up his game nicely. People just gotta be patient, we'll have baby shaq soon

  12. Honestly i think it will work, they don’t need Kareem they need him to do the dirty work and he got enough skills to go guts or no guts effort. And he will gladly do that whilst a vet probably won’t

  14. Reminds me of Wenyen Gabriel when he played with Bron in LA great hustle guy high energy did the dirty work those type of guys are needed to zap energy back into the team

  17. Yea I’m not sure where all this Bona hate comes from he can 100% be a legitimate backup center or even starter if Embiid is resting. Defense and rebounding are so valuable especially for this team and he provides exactly what we need. Just need to see some IQ development in terms of getting in the right positions, making the right plays/passes, etc.

Romp I love your videos, however I completely disagree bona is a nobody he’s not surprising anyone and the reason he fouls so much is bc he’s not an nba level talent plane and simple he’s not a good post defender and all he really does well is block shots and that’s mostly do to the fact that he’s athletic and tall, he doesn’t get rebounds buddy can go back to the g league

  31. If Lebron can't elevate Bona, nothing will. As someone who really wanted to believe in him watching the entire season, it was extremely difficult and frustrating. He straight up looked like someone who didn't know the game of basketball at times. Incredible athlete, extremely below average basketball IQ
