76ers title would help LeBron’s legacy, Is this the same as Kevin Durant joining the Warriors? | FTF
Kevin Durant compared LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers to him joining the Golden State Warriors in 2016, saying that “last time they put 3 20-point scores on a team, they said it was unfair.” Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes ask if this is a fair comparison.

KD at the time 2d best player in the NBA had to join with the best team in the NBA to beat the best player LBJ
So many people are missing the point…
I’m convinced people enjoy hating on players more than watching the game.
The GOAT debate is obviously a very personal thing. For me it’s Michael Jordan and not particularly close. GOAT means best player. The player you want to win you one game. NOW if you want to discuss BEST CAREER I’m open to a discussion. Those are two different arguments and LeBron has as much of an argument if not more than anyone. But best player? It’s Jordan. Period.
Why even debate a joke as if it is a serious take…
In this analogy, chamberlain is more like LeBron and Russell is more like MJ
It's not the same because the 76ers were a second round exit 7 seed last year good job Philly building a good team they took Bostons 2nd best player via trade and the Lakers 2nd best player via free agency at a massive discount to a lineup that already had Maxxey and Embid it's just good GMing
Look at the comments and realize how many people genuinely think they understand logic at all…
The way Kevin Durant escaped scrutiny for that Failed Phoenix Suns year has to be studied. Everybody be so quick to glaze him cuz they love his game(bag). Yet the only time we seen that bag of his help a team thrives was on the warriors. That bag talk be so important to mfs, yet all i heard last season was how bad the rockets needed van fleet. Why they need Van Fleet when they got KD and his "bag"? 😭
Just because you bloat a career with empty calorie years that haven't had legitimate impact since 2020 doesn't mean you're a better player. Better movies aren't always the longest ones.
Look at these clowns try to pretend Durant's move was worse than it was, trying anything possible to prop up Lebrons legacy, no matter how foolish or dishonest the argument is.
🧁
No. Nick is wrong here. I had bron at 1 ten years ago. As time goes on. He has fallen and fallen
Don't forget: Brunson told LeBron "We're not interested."
Move that goalpost
KD going to Golden State was the worst but LeBron going to Miami and then forgetting how to play basketball in the 2011 Finals is the lowest moment in sports history. KD doesn't get as much hate because the '17 and '17 Warriors were the greatest teams of all time. LeBron's Heat had one good win streak but got destroyed in '11 and '14, and Allen saved there season with that crazy 3 in '13. LeBron could have easily gone 1-3 in Miami. KD could have easily 3-peated or 4-peated if not for injury and Draymond big mouth scaring KD off
I HATE the"sides." Growing up Jordan was the best I'd ever seen. As an adult, LeBron is the best I've seen.
Kobe the GOAT 💛💜🐍🐐
Never have two prime MVPs teamed up. Not even close to being the same.
LeBron's played with more HOFers than anyone in history, has the best health and still can't settle the debate with a guy who retired almost 30yrs ago who did 99% of his accomplishments in 11 full seasons while LeBron looks like he'll play for a quarter of a century
LeBron apologist. What Kevin is saying is what Barkley is saying! Not if LeBron joined a flawed 73 win team.
Nick has something personal against Jordan. LeBron is closer to Wilt than any other player and MJ is more like Russell but Nick favors Russell over Wilt but LeBron over MJ.
