Amidst the Toronto Raptors trying to trade for him from the Los Angeles Clippers, Pablo Torre has revealed another company who may have been used to circumvent the salary cap by Steve Ballmer. The trade should still go through and Kawhi should be find a massive amount while the Raptors picks are returned to them, but the Clippers still get to keep Brady Dick and Brandon the Raptors should not have to deal with the punishment of the Clippers or Kawhi
The Raptors also made this trade with the expectation that nothing was going to happen because Adam Silver did nothing for over a year and once Kawhi went to a Canadian market, he decided that investigation was in order

This practice is surly not new and will continue these people just choose the must ridiculous deals/ sponsorship. Steve and his crew were a little sloppy because he is a multi billionaire he’s going to use if money, power an businesses to achieve any goal he wants none of this will really effect his money so the clippers continue to not winning championships it’s not really going to hurt them realistically. Are they going to force Steve to sell lol no. If KL has to seat out most of the year next year it will not be different from prior years. The process is convoluted and not much will be gained or loss really once the investigation is over.

I've been saying since last year that there will be no punishment until it stops benefitting OKC. Silver does not like how good OKc got. It's bad for business. The league works hard to keep OKC in check very chance they get.
Balmer should pay. He manipulated the NBA market, doing under the table deals that give him an unfair advantage against other teams in acquiring or paying players.

I think at this point, Kawhi has to eat a lifetime ban. When we have multiple companies funneling you money and there’s evidence of Kawhi’s camp requesting it, there has to be a massive punishment to keep this from happening. If only the contract is voided and there’s not a big enough suspension, the precedent set would destroy the league. A statement has to be made.
