  1. Mike's crazy to think CLE is better than MIA. Miami has a T3 coach w/ multiple rings, a Top 4 player who's a former MVP, DPOY, & champion, and Bam, who's anchored multiple Top5 defenses. Tim Hardaway's a shooter. Wiggins shot 41% from 3 last year. Davion shot 39.5% from 3 last year. More importantly: MIA's got multiple players that can lock up both Harden & Mitchell. Mike's engaging in wishful thinking…

  2. Top 8 teams in the East as currently constructed, NOT where I think the seeding will finish but just the BEST 8 teams:

    1. Knicks (self explanatory, deserve respect at the top)

    2. Sixers (highest ceiling and most talented on paper, have to prove it on the court and Embiid health concern)

    3. Celtics (fully healthy Tatum)

    4. Raptors (WITH Kawhi)

    5. Pacers (Hali back plus Zubac added)

    6. Pistons (drop off and lost Tobias, no secondary scorer)

    7. Heat (still have to fill out roster)

    8. Cavs (lost a couple role players, essentially the same team that no one believes in)

Love the Cavs but next season is looking BLEAK, they got slightly worse while everyone around them (outside of Detroit) either got better or significantly better (by trades, signings, or injured players back/healthy).
