  1. We've already seen what a playoffs looks like without p-wat looks like. Denver had to bank on the potential of p-wat to be optimistic at all that the nuggets have a chance of winning another championship

  2. I donโ€™t think Can Johnson is a better choice to trade than Peyton Watson. Weโ€™ve seen him play great for ONE MONTH. Cam was fearless in Game 6

  3. For anyone who thinks it is about money, below are the top 10 highest payroll teams in the NBA for this upcoming season. It isn't about money, it is that they have already locked themselves in several bad contracts and have been horribly managed for several seasons.
    Denver Nuggets: ~$223.46 million
    Orlando Magic: ~$223.46 million
    Golden State Warriors: ~$219.12 million
    Minnesota Timberwolves: ~$218.89 million
    Phoenix Suns: ~$218.88 million
    New York Knicks: ~$218.28 million
    Oklahoma City Thunder: ~$216.41 million
    Philadelphia 76ers: ~$210.65 million
    Toronto Raptors: ~$209.38 million
    Houston Rockets: ~$209.30 million

  4. The Nuggets management and ownership has in my opinion mismanaged this team so much that now itโ€™s a below average team.
Overpaid Jamal, overpaid CB, overpaid Zeke, gave up two many picks to dump Reggieโ€™s contract. Let KCP go. The list goes on. Now you compound that by trading PW for nothing. Donโ€™t be surprised now if the Joker leaving talks increase. Why play for a team that has no future

  5. Why cant the nuggets develop their young players by ACTUALLY PLAYING THEM! Nuggets mentality: lets run our stars into the ground and never play our young players and develop them. Now another team is going to reap the benefits of Payton Watson.

  6. Spend more money each year –> get worse each year

Very impressive. I am a Celtics fan but Denver with Jokic has been my favorite team to watch… kind of sad to see how Jokic's prime has been treated from a front office perspective.

  7. In a year where Jokic didnt sign an extension and will be a free agent next year, we traded away the player he really liked so much to request to join him in the only major commercials hes been in ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. I will die on the hill that Jokic is complacent and doesnโ€™t care about winning if he doesnโ€™t ask for a trade after this season. The Nuggets had like 3 options and somehow managed to make the worst possible move by far, but what else would you expect from this front office and ownership groupโ€ฆ

  9. All roads lead to Rome! Ownership obviously decided to trade Jokic. They don't wanna give him super max, not because they don't like Jok or they don't trust him. They can not make him be active on social media, off the court and prostitute. Therefore they are doing everything to piss him off and hoping he snaps and asks for a trade. With Kushners buying Lakers, economic downfall of USA, boycott that is spreading like wildfire across Europe and Asia, they believe it is smart to not give Jok super max.
For the ownership it is all about profit. It's sad but true

  10. Complete mismanagement. Is the draft capital just waiting for the future non-Jokic/Murray rebuild in 3-5 yrs? Or to make the most of whatโ€™s left of Jokic/Murray? You manage your roster by paying and developing Watson. You need youth, athleticism and $22mil/yr is a good contract. All you have for 3 drafts now is CB?? FO is not up to the task. Pay the tax for a year and you figure out how to move CB and/or Camโ€™s expiring. This was a chance to stop the mistakes of the past. Failure

  11. How the hell are they so delusional except Wind. Only Locked on Nuggets are talking the truth. They wanna get cheaper and use the excuse with First round fetishism like Matt said that they are โ€žmore flexibleโ€œ. When they just want to be cheaper. When you couldnt get a real player in return with a first for peyton watson. Then you just pay him. 22 mil is a good contract for him we all thought he would get more than CB. What the hell is going on with DNVR. Did the Kroenkes pay you?

  12. Hopefully another move on the wayโ€ฆ the season sucked last year but going into it, everyone expected to be the best or second best team. On paper they made great moves. Canโ€™t ignore that

  13. Denver is showing to be one of the worst franchises (if not the worst) in taking the advantage of having the best player in the game this decade. Unbelievably how they havenโ€™t been able to surround Jokic with better players and better roster.
22 mill. a year for PW is overpay.., but Denver did this to themselves with that CB contract. Denver is ruining themselves with overpaying the players. Especially CB, Murray (has never been worth a max contract), MPJ (previously), AG (heโ€™s unfortunately just too injury prone), Zekeโ€ฆ
So self destructing, from outside someone might think that someone is sabotaging the franchise from inside.

  14. Why is Adam acting like Watson never got chances to play before last season? Malone played him many times and 75% of the time he sucked. Lol. Not sure why a good 15 game stretch means he would have been doing it so much earlier.

  15. Can we just acknowledge that Watson wasnโ€™t wronged in his first 3 yrs, that he took advantage of an opportunity when his game had grown to the point of being able to take advantage of it?
