  1. as a denver fan, losing payton sucks. Even though denver doesn't look very good going into the next season, I still have a pretty good bet that they are gonna be surprisingly competitive next year. If Christian braun has a better year for sure we won't be bad. But also the way Cam was moving on offense towards the end of last season- if that rolls over into the next, I'm sure the team is gonna be fine. Julian strawther also looks pretty hungry to improve

  2. This is a complete organizational failure from the Nuggets. From overpaying Nnaji to then negotiating against themselves to give Braun all that money. Watson, rightfully so, based his contact negotiations by Braun's. If the Nuggets hadn't overpaid Braun then this negotiation with Watson would have been immensely easier. This trade didn't happen in a vaccum. Because it didn't happen in a vaccum is why this is a complete disgrace by the front office.

  3. Max Strus and ‘others’ weren’t the reason the Cavs lost that series against the Knicks. Harden and Mitchell taking a lot of bad shots rather than run an offense and get the bigs involved in some post up looks to re-open space for the guards to attack again shows a lack of what it takes to control a game in a playoff setting. The coach should have corrected this style of play mid 4th quarter after watching it lose them the lead in less than 15 minutes. So I blame the coach just as much for sitting there and allowing that to happen, when he’s the one who had the team playing unselfish basketball all year. I lowkey wonder if the Cavs were told to ‘take a dive’ (aka throw the series), because it makes no sense how they played for 3 quarters, and then just started playing the most stupid brand of basketball they’ve played all year. Throwing may be in Harden’s make-up, but not the rest of the team’s make-up. I’m a Lakers fan, so don’t even start accusing me of rose colored glasses and copium. I could less about the Cavs, but I just thought that was a very strange choke job. Cavs literally never made an effort for the rest of the series after those 3 quarters. It’s like the fix was in, and makes me wonder how Harden could so confidently say that the better team didn’t win that series, unless he knew the Cavs threw the series on purpose after dominating them for 3 quarters.

  4. Nah nuggets definitely not a B+ on this. I get they had to get rid of him but getting nothing but an iffy pick is 👎🏾Cavs and clippers definitely won this, nuggets on a downhill trajectory ever since MPJ trade fr

  5. That second apron bs is messing up the league. Teams can't even build properly anymore. At the same time, Ironically, the whole reason the second apron exists is the cba has been set up to over pay (star players). Things have been set up to have 70, 80 percent of a teams money tied up i to a couple of players; which makes no since in the first place. But this set is cause a lot of good players to possibly have to go to another league. The whole system is F'ed and is gonna even kill the league

  6. denver should just blow it up/revamp
who says no? (not including whatever pick distrubutions):

denver get senguin, vanvleet, quickley, poeltl, and (reaves or paolo/da silva
    rockets get jokic
    raptors get murray

lakers get cam johnson and braun

or magic get braun and gordan

  7. B+ where?? 😂😂😂 this is easily one of the worst trades of the offseason. The nuggets are now one AG injury away from being a 40 win team next season

  8. This is really bad for the Nuggets. Peyton was their best perimeter defender and surprisingly can create his own shot when Jokic was out with the injury. He is much better than Braun in all areas. Huge mistake signing Braun to that contract… it sets the bar for Peyton's value.

  9. Nuggets get publicly clowned for lack of defense, then trade their best defender and get nothing back now. Way to go. They should've got at least Strus. Clippers have some pieces, Kawhi mess pending.

  10. You really don't know anything about basketball at all. The nuggets have no opportunity to compete whatsoever when they needed to overhaul their roster they gutted it and you think it's a good thing for them to waste the prime of the greatest basketball player to ever put on a jersey.. just stop.

  11. i don't understand your logic. nuggets lose watson for a chance at maybe getting a good young player in . cavs pay $88 million to watson based on some big stats he put up while most of the nuggets were on the IR list. do you really think this is a "perfect" trade? the clippers "won" the trade because they got a pretty decent nba player – strus – without giving up anyone…
