How Did the Sixers Get Away With This…

1. I said the same thing in the Dean Wade Vid. This secondary is so lethal, with Barlow, Bona, and Wade that is an amazing solid defense and then with Simons and Philon that is the secondary offensive engine. This team is more complete than I’ve ever seen in the process era tbh
   Edit: Simons is literally a 20 ppg starter, he was a beast

2. Dean Wade, Anfernee Simons, and KCP are decent depth guys.

   Despite the commentary, this team with both the starters and bench depth as currently constructed is a top 8 defensive team and the offense is top 3. That isn't even that bold of a statement. I think that they can go up from there depending on how well they mesh.

3. Remember the JJ Redick, Belinelli, Ilyasova lineups with Embiid and Simmons. Imagine an iteration of that with Bron and Embiid. (KCP, Simons and Wade)

4. The team is really slow…. 5 great guards…. Cant play them all at the same time…

I struggled to accept Simons, because we'd vented Jrue's contract to save Chisholm money, nothing more – they dumped Holiday for an expiring, and I just had a real tough time with replacing maybe the guy who makes the most winning plays per minute in the league, with, like, an absolutely insane gunslinger, who simply did not play D.

    Thing is, as the season progressed, Simons got a LOT better on defense, specifically because he was being expected to play it. And his offense didnt dip. Now, on the Sixers (who I am now a fan of, because f the Celtics, JB is my guy), getting paid nothing, to just come off the bench and catch fire? Insane pick-up. Unbelievable upside.

12. Clevelander here. Lebron on a vet min, Dean Wade and Mike Gansey as President… you guys lucked out!! I was actually rooting for LBJ to go to Philly so I'm super happy w just that, but to bring in the other 2!? 💪.
