I wonder who the Bucks refused to give up to get him. . . Ryan Rollins? A major mistake. I would have let him go or KPJ and started Burries. Bucks have too many players on Gary Trent Jr type salary driven years. Everyone is playing for a new deal. Not good. KPJ, Vasquez, Herro, Ware, Rollins, everybody. Can't sign them all. Plus you still paying Damian Lillard. I would start completely over. Get rid of everybody and do a major overhaul, NOW. No sense waiting. Only guys left Ware, Burries, Ament and Dieng.
They was no way to get Watson because we did the GTJ deal so it is what it is .
Now go get Jonathan Kuminga. Or even a Benedict Mathurin. Love his game and nastiness. Like a Dillon Brooks kind of mentality, He is a must. I hope they do not already have a prearranged deal with KPJ like they had with Gary Trent Jr. Herro must go at the deadline. This is done in segments my friends. First is get your guys. Then build a culture, and forge and identity, and then team character and chemistry. This can take an entire year now that we did not get Watson. It is not about wins and losses this year. Straight up DEVELOPMENT. Clean everybody out.
Wait a minute here…oh hell naw!!!!! The Cavs also got F Cam Whitmore too!? That is who I wanted the Bucks to get last year before he was injured. Him or Saddique Bey, Damn! My oh my oh my. Darn it! Cam Whitmore is a beast. Much like Cam Thomas. Plays both ends and is only 24. Cavs are in the mix. Got rid of hacks Stus and Wade and now have added Watson and Whitmore. Kudos to their GM. Darn it. Great move if Whitmore is healthy. Those are the young grunts the Bucks need. They are too lean and too soft. Great deal for Cavs.
Yes the Cavs can win a Championship with this. YES. ABSOLUTELY. You keep blaming Jon Horst on the Gary Trent Jr deal. That was NOT HIS FAULT. That was business. Watson was not 'a possibility' he was a building block. You do make a move for a building block. Major fail for the Bucks. Peyton Watson was worth him making the move.

Amara, JESUS, Kel'el Ware is 22 only and like Giannis, 15th pick, 7 feet tall, shoots 3's like Giannis did. The Bucks staff need to develop him like they did with Giannis.
