Jonathan Kuminga Down to Lakers or Timberwolves?

6. I think the problem for LA is that there isn’t a team to facilitate a sign and trade. Most of the teams who have cap space are already at or above the max roster spots and need to make cuts. So Vando is probably not getting traded. Other teams could just then wait out the Lakers buying out their own guys and signing the, to even smaller minimum contracts. Which really isn’t saving the Lakers much money either. I would guess the Lakers offer is much closer to the minimum than we expect.

7. If it’s not working, they’re gonna blame Kuminga who the hell is gonna blame Kuminga over Luka or Austin or even walker lol….makes no sense… to be honest I think he doesn’t want to pressure. I think he wants a smaller team like a Cleveland or Minnesota.

10. If I'm the Lakers I'd try to move Hardy, Knecht & Bronny in a 3 way trade sending Bronny + a 2cd to Philly for Bona or just Bronny going there with a 2cd coming back to the Lakers. Then try to move Knecht & Hardy + the pick swap to Chicqgo for Jalen Smith. Then sign Cam Whitmore for the vet minimum. Fk Kuminga. Those moves would balance out our roster with a nice 4/5 in Smith that can start along side Kessler & play some backup 4 & Whitmore just gives us more wing depth on a cheap prove it deal.

13. I’m a laker fan since birth. I hope he goes to Minnesota. We just got rid of our cancer. We don’t need a relapse. If he becomes a laker, mark my words… they will regret it. Pelinka, (and I’m not a fan of his) for the first time has put together a TEAM with a plan. Like the plan or not, and on paper I do, but Kuminga is NOT a team player. (like LeDiddy wasn’t) He cares about money and Kuminga doesn’t not that I hate him for trying to get a bag. He can’t read the room though. He hasn’t earned a huge contract yet. He is a drama queen. It’s Pelinka’s fault for not adding a starting wing and backup center. We HAD a backup center in Ayton and under contract. They dumped him and now we have Mamu and looney. Ayton would have been great off the bench and could have been the focus of our bench squad. He knew he needed to put up numbers so when his contract with the lakers was over, he wanted to have good numbers for his value with the next team. I do like a lot of Pelinka’s plans but his contracts were not smart and he left out some positions that every team needs.
