Klay Thompson recently got his buyout, leaving us with 15 guaranteed contracts and three two-way contracts, which adds up to 18 roster spots. This is the maximum number of players a team can have. There’s no way we’re going to trade one player and then get two extra players on top of the one we were already going to get in the trade.
