  1. Trade Idea

    Warriors Trade
    Moses Moody
    Jimmy Butler
    1st Round pick

    Nuggets Trade
    Aaron Gordon
    Cam Johnson
    Zeke Naji

Then you gotta sign some guys but it gives them a lil flexibility

  2. Nobody in their prime don't want to play with jokic and in Denver. Y'all act like y'all don't see how terrible of a defensive player jokic is. Playing in Denver with a high altitude it's one thing, but picking up jokic slack on the defensive end is another.

  3. Their starting 5 is fine. Their problem is the minutes Jokic is not on the floor them going down by 12. Derozan should be able to put up enough to keep them neutral-adjacent and for this team that's huge.

  4. Christian Braun is literally the entire problem with this team. How people think that he is anywhere near the money he is worth is beyond me. I saw dude dunk near somebody on 3/16 shooting and proceed to get a tech talking shit. He needs to be eradicated from not only the team, but the NBA. I dont see any other team giving him a chance.

  5. No idea if this is the case but I wonder if Denver would be in this position if they'd kept either Calvin Booth or Michael Malone. Both had their faults to be sure but would a Malone coached team lose to the depleted Wolves? Booth made bad signings(Nnaji) but the current primary decision making duo extended Braun, signed Valancunis and traded MPJ. Again, I don't know but I wonder if they should have kept one of them

  6. Spencer Jones, Marvin Bagley and Tyus Jones are depth pieces but not consistent bench players for teams with championship aspirations. Add an ancient DeRozan, who at least can still produce, and this is a bad bench

  7. I'm a Kings fan. Signing DeRozan is not "fine." He's not good any more, and there have always been legitimate questions about much he really helped winning teams.

  8. You are a basically a Shein clothing brand from collab to being the Nuggets. You and Watson are the sane. That was shameless, I like you're politics, but that leans heavily against it. Nuggets ain't wanna pay to a dude that acted like he was injured.

  9. tbh i always was expecting Jokic to be in current situation with this office/team so when he won multiple mvps and bloody ring for me it was miracle

  10. The issue isn't the aprons. The issue is and always will be that the salary cap exceptions are based around age and service (thanks Lebron and Chris Paul for ruining contract agreements), and not based around whether a team gets rewarded for developing their own talent.

If there was an exception to the salary cap tiers for drafted players, this would not be an issue at all. Instead we have years of service. So a player will stick out a contract with one team, sign a supermax and then get traded but count to the full cap.

  11. Nuggets really got cooked hard by the 2nd apron. Signing CB was the nail in the coffin but we have no picks no money no assets. P wats gone AG’s hurt all the time every single team knows cb is overpaid. Its either trade Jamal or Cam and i dont think youd get equal or better value for either of them. Joks too old to true rebuild too so yup

  12. As a life long Nuggets fan, it's not a disaster. Anyone who was around at the end of the Moe era and rode things out through the 90's and early 2000's knows what a disaster looks like. The Nuggets are about as far from that as humanly possible. Are they a realistic threat to win a championship? Probably not.

  13. As a die-hard Nuggets fan, I think Jokic should go. I hate that Luka is on the Lakers. I feel any championships won in L.A. should come with an asterisk, since the league rigs it for them time and again; however, I'd like to see the two play together on a team with the right defensive players around them, and if anyone can pull it off, it's L.A. If that is what it takes for Jokic to get his flowers, then so be it. Then the league can take care of Denver as they did for the Pelicans and Mavericks when they shipped their star to L.A. for nothing.

  14. Denver was the best fast break team in the league when Christian Braun had his 15 PPG season. A big reason was because Braun ran those fastbreaks together with Westbrook, who already declined drasticially but was still elite in the fastbreak department. Having Jokic to catch a rebound pass it to Westbrook who can then pass to Braun was a huge part in his breakout. And when you get a confidence boost with easy points, the effort on defense works better and suddenly the three pointer will fall to a solid degree. But without Westbrook, Braun isnt good enough to run those fastbreaks alone and everything else falls apart.

  15. It sucks to see the Nuggets fade from contention but…that's how these things go. I object to the idea that Jokic's career has been seriously "wasted." Having one year where it all comes together is as much as you can hope for in the 2020s NBA. Some combination of bad contracts, poorly-thought out trades, age, and injuries have hit every champion of the decade.
