“While some contend the Heat acted with too much haste in extending Nikola Jovic, there seems to be enough there with Pelle to avoid the risk of dealing with free agency. Larsson is eligible for a four-year extension at a projected maximum of $93 million. He also has the option to move into restricted free agency next summer, where the Heat will be able to match outside offers. His extension window is open through June.”

There's no way you can do this right now. Have to wait and see how he fits with Giannis, his role on this team, and what we can potentially do at trade deadline. Maybe there's an upgrade at deadline and then you don't feel the need to offer extension at a high number.

I've been saying it since late in his first season, if they give Larsson a big role, he will give you efficient, all-star quality numbers. There's just something in his game and tenacity that give me a vibe. It's only a personal opinion.

The heat were stupid to give jovic the extension because he never did anything on an NBA court. Larson has already. Big difference. but you never overpay for any player. Let him prove it on the court first. Then pay him. If he disappoints let him walk or take less money

Yes no question. Yes it’s similar situation to Nikola, but Pelle has that DOG in him big time. Jovic does not I’ve never been too hot on Jovic. Pelle just has some serious sauce and I DO think he’ll have a big breakout season this year.
