9. Spurs: Harper, Castle, Vassell, Wemby.

   The analytics have shown, with Harper over Fox paired with Wemby makes one of the best lineups in the entire NBA. Fox might be better than Vassell, but Vassell spaces the floor much better.

   That bench would be nasty though. Fox, Johnson, Bryant, Harris, and Kornet.

    harper was straight up better than fox in every category other than ball security when bring the ball up the court by the end of last season and im expecting him to become better than fox in that category too
    vassel is one of the spurs best shooters and really underrated defensively, great a switching off of screens and big enough to contest all positions (had various clutch blocks against big men in the playoffs). if i remember correctly the spurs have the highest offensive and defensive rating when him and wemby share the floor, so he absolutely has to be in the lineup.
    champaigne is really good and could easily be in the lineup over harris but im assuming harris is gonna bring a bit more help defensively for wemby which is gonna improve our defense overall and also allow wemby to have more energy on offense and play more comfortably from the elbow as well as not having to be the one to set screens

21. For Dallas, if Lively is healthy or plays, he will definitely be in the best line up. His on off numbers are pretty crazy. To me, Cooper, Kyrie, and Lively (if healthy) will be in the top line up and you can plug in whoever around them and it will work. My guess is its going to be Kyrie>Cooper>Biberovic>PJ>Lively. Kyrie and Cooper would be the engines with Biberovic stretching the floor and PJ, Coop, and Lively causing havoc on defense. Would love for Morez to take Pj's spot but he isn't going to stretch the floor enough right now.

30. Spurs fan here, Vassell is a huge reason why the starting lineup clicks so well. He's an extremely active defender and great floor spacer who can still comfortably create his own shot. Trying my best to put aside recency bias from the playoffs, I don't see how Fox is ever more valuable than Devin if you're alleviating ball handling duties by putting Harper in the lineup. Better defender, shooter, more comfortable off ball, bigger, more versatile, etc

    Not that Fox is a bad player, but the three guard line up is just a bit redundant. I think Harper Castle Devin Champagnie Wemby will be the best lineup, at least by fit and net rating

37. Dylan Harper is too damn good.
    It feels right to have the three guard lineup (because how do you bench Fox? Also, everyone forgets he was not at 100% in the playoffs) and i’d bet Julian Champagnie will absolutely be in their overall best lineup but they are going to need Tobias or Kornet for the many teams that have a two big lineup.

    i absolutely cannot wait for this season.
