2. The Mavs have the team with the most players [After 76ers] who averaged 10+PPG last season [Cooper, Zaccharie, Max, Santi, Naji, PJ]. This does NOT include Kyrie/Morez and potentially Sergio. You guys need better subjects

9. I think Issac said something really truthful. There is an inside the fan base perspective and an outside the fan base perspective. I think inside the fan base perspective there is a lot of coping from losing a real generational talent in Luka Doncic. I have never seen people cope this much and not be a little bit realistic.

10. The Mavericks have a lot of holes. For example, say Kyrie gets hurt again. Who exactly are your guards? No one really. That is why I keep banging the table to bite the bullet and play Sergio! Dallas really has to develop some of this young talent by playing them!! If not Sergio, you got to get Sasser on that floor. Cooper is not a guard. No matter how much you want to make him into one, he really isn't.

11. The Mavs had the most clutch games in the league last year, and that was without Kyrie, without DLive, and without all the new guys they just brought in. They could easily win 40+ games this year.

12. They are going to go into season and see if Tarik, Risacher, or Max can step up and be the 3rd option and good 3 point shooters. If not, they have the players to make a trade for someone.

13. Kyrie is an upgrade over Nembhatdt and Williams. So we will improve dramatically just on that alone, Christie, Washington and Gaffird should all be more productive/efficient on offense just because Kyrie will be in the floor with them.

    As much as I like Naji, I think his role actually shrinks a bit. He can create his own shot and last year he benefited from being on a team with few people who could do that. So Kyrie’s presence takes away from Naji a bit,

14. Anthony Davis and Trae young have been legit all star/all nba players, cooper hasn’t yet. A hobbled Anthony Davis was a more impactful player than cooper last season. The Mavs won almost 50% of their games with ad and he only played in 20 total. Let cooper show that type of impact first before we start saying cooper and Irving better than them

15. Mavs said they wanted to be the best passing team in the league.
    Are they moving away from iso ball? See: no Brandon Williams.
    Kyrie, Naji, Cooper, Sergio, Sasser(ish) can handle the ball.
    Maybe they are going for more of these combo players.

17. The playmaking is still a glaring issue so we'd better hope May has a system to hide that. The only true point guard on the roster is DeLarrea and there is going to be a learning curve there. I don't want to put too much of a burden on Kyrie coming off that injury

18. On playmaking: Amongst low usage Fs/Cs, Aldama is 5th(behind Okongwu, OG, Wiggins, Jaden Mcdaniels) in pts created via his scoring + Ast. Super underrated playmaker. Sasser can create on his own & is a grrat shooter. Zacc is NBA avg from 3 on solid volume, but is comfortable putting the ball on the floor as well–useful in attacking off of advantages created by Coop/Kai. Super high on Biberovic as a shooter. & if undrafted, 5'11" Nembhard can play 1100 mins, Larry can as well. Let him do what he's good at. Put him in the P&R & let him playmake

19. Mavs have a good all around rooster. Much will depend on Coop, thats true. Kyrie deffo ths X factor. How close will he be to pre injury Ky. I predict them to finish at 8-9 spot.

20. Our roster is complete. We do not need to add anyone. The key to our success will depend on 2 things. #1. Irving & Lively have to play +65 games at the level of 2 years ago. Big IF. #2. Cooper & Maxie simply both need to hit their 3's at minimum 37% level. We know what PJ, Marshall & Gafford will give us if healthy. If Irving is not the same and we are in bottom 10 in west then massive mid season trade involving Irving, PJ & Gafford to simply get young healthy 3 to replace them. A starting point, a starting wing & backup center.

21. You can only do so much in a single offseason. The teams that are in contention for the chip are mostly tapped out and cannot provide picks or young players for KYrie even if the Mavs could be enticed. A player such as VJ Edgecombe and a not too distant unprotected first might be required to move the Mavs but who has the goods and the need?
