  1. I wish they could have did it without attaching a pick but I get it, the Peavy pick looks more suspect now because they could have took Maxime Raynaud with that pick

  2. What makes this successful is winning and Ben plays well while seamlessly fitting into the roster. What will happen is we will still be bad, Ben being a poor shooter and Defender won’t fit and will be a one year rental. AJ doesn’t look like a rotational NBA player, but he was in Was with Weaver

  3. I totally agree. Why pick up the Hawkins' option last year when you could have just let him walk. Now, it's costing picks and a promising defensive wing. Damn Joe!

  4. They need to give AJ and/or Taj a chance. 2nd round picks are usually worthless. And I doubt, you can trade 2 second round picks, to move into the top 10 of a draft. After a certain point in the second round, they're just a bunch of terrible, haven't improved their games, injury prone, salary filler guys, character issue guys , etc. .

  5. Well one Jordan out of two is better than nothing I guess. Kinda disappointed we had to get rid of peavy but it was probably either him or a better player. After this, we should not have to worry about getting MPJ after this. Cause MPJ would cost us dearly

  6. I agree that they gave up too many picks to get rid of one person and at the same time they probably won’t keep what they traded for….tell me you service other franchises without telling me you servicing other franchises. I guess we done rebuilding now if this fails this season then for fucks sake fire him at that point. This season there will be no fucking excuses for this front office or team. If they blame it on the injuries if they blame it on tough teams being tough then toss it all in the garbage including the blind fans that support this bad franchisr

  7. Farm Team, Farm Team, Farm Team! Why can’t you all see that the Pelicans always have been one of the teams used to farm players. Surly you all didn’t think the Pelicans Organization was going to get Mathuring for nothing? I knew the back-track was coming, they just needed a little more time to creatively steal Peavy, or farm Peavy away from the Pelicans. It happens all the time with the Pelicans. Mathuring is a one year rental, THEY farmed two current players from the Pelicans, one of whom is a defensive stopper( isn’t the Pelicans supposed to be all about defense?), two 2nd round picks for a one year rental in Mathuring. How much do you want to bet that Mathuring will either get injured, or have the worst season of his career. I don’t care how good Farm Teams look, they are not formulated to prosper, or compete. Farm Teams stay in the lottery to draft top picks that will be harvested later by other teams. IMO, JMO, IJS.
