Outside Irving who is our next in line to handle the ball handling pressure handling the best defenders in full court pressure??? Flagg was thrown to the wolves by Kidd simply to try to get the fans over the other great playmaker we use to have. If Irving does not return 100% healthy at All Star level we are a bottom 50% in tbe west. If he is 100% back then maybe we can get to the top 6 in the west.
Cooper is not a playmaker against the full court pressure of the Dorts, Williams, Jones, Smart, Thompson or other top full court defenders.
Cooper and Kyrie is a lot better top 2 than most teams have
Sergio might be the 2nd or 3rd most talented passer the mavs have had.
But I got big concerns for the rest of his game.
Cooper is NOT a playmaker.
