Utah can’t make this mistake AGAIN!!!

1. I don't think they are going to do that. Jerry Sloan was ridiculous with that stuff. McCloud and Palacio were clearly surpassed by Deron Williams. Darryn Peterson might get 20 points his first game. Ace Bailey on the other hand, might get better development coming off the bench where he is expected to be a leading scorer alla Jordan Clarkson. I think Ace Bailey will be in the top 5 in minutes played.

2. This makes the most sense I’ve been saying it forever. Lauri goes out early anyways and Nurk can swap in. Keep Ace and DP happy and you start games with an offensive powerhouse.

3. DW was a amazing but also a punk. How do we know this? He said it himself. Who sought out who years later? Yep, DW found Coach Sloan and apologized for his ignorance and attitude problem during that time with him. Loved DW but not his attitudes during his tenure with the Jazz-it was piss poor and DW knew it. Let’s not cherry pick that story. JS was no doubt old school but he was a great coach. I miss him!

6. You are 100% right, Nerd. Keeping it simple and starting our 5 best players is the way to go.
   Defense starts at the perimeter, and with Ace & DP at the 2 & 3, it's so much better than having Lauri at the 3. Like you said, I also think that 5 rebounds more or less in a game isn't that big of a deal when we have the rim protection with Trip at the 5. Lauri can step up and learn to be a better help-side defender. Lauri's block attempts are kinda uncontrolled swings, often resulting in fouls. Lauri is 7 feet tall. He just has to be in a better position (footwork) and extend his arm, like Walker did.

7. One other reason to start Nurk is actually being an offensive hub and a facilitator of the will hardy offense, so the first few plays go through him. But in the overall, Ace should be a starter, also because he's not a classic 6th man, that takes over the ball and makes things happen, so it might be a waste to run him with the second unit.

8. Worst part about the Sloan vs DW saga was we lost both of them.

9. 100% agree. People are like oh just have Ace come off the bench… for how long? 2-3 years behind Lauri, good luck with that, I suspect he would bounce. People always mention Harper, well Spurs have Wemby and were championship contenders. And it may have cost them a championship if you watched the finals. We might be 2-3 years away from bring legit contenders, so what is the point in delaying Ace starting?

10. There’s not many teams that have this problem lol. 🙂

    One good thing about this is that they can quite easily load balance players. They can quite easily have a short rotation

11. Its ridiculous Jerry did that. He was very lucky to have Stockton and Malone.
