JJJ was perfect next to Kessler to provide the Jazz elite interior defense and rim protection. Without Kessler, JJJ is way less valuable. As for the money, Kessler was way more important than Keyonte. Keyonte is probably going to be replaced by DP anyway. Jazz blew it by losing Kessler.
In Memphis we just remember Draymond told him to shutup and he did just that and walked back to the bench

The JJJ pick up was great when Kessler was on the team. After the trade it is just good. Keeping Kessler was going to cost more than he has proven he is worth (35-40m it seems) so it wasn’t agonizing to trade him (still stung), but it did mean that the Jazz were kicking the contention can a few years down the road, and they are gambling on being able to pick up an adequate center in the next two years.
Two years ago in Kessler played we were the second to the last defense so he must not have been all that important
Are you people need to get off the Kessler trade problem? He didn’t want to be in Utah and he was a freaking crybaby anyway and always injured. So get off of it.
