The way his offense has evolved as he has aged perfectly aligns with the 3 biggest weaknesses of the Raptors offense.
1) Effective halfcourt/end of clock scoring
2) We were top in transition, but bottom in completing transition possessions (Kawhi was among top in the league, I read like 1.33 PPP)
3) We make a ton of 3's but we miss them all. Kawhi upped his 3 ball by 2 a game while maintaining 42% shooting.
People think the Raptors should be worried he isn't 29 any more. While it would be nice, with our roster designed as it is, the player Kawhi is growing into suits our current play style.
You gotta talk more about Barrett, Quickley, and Poeltl. Nobody talks about how Poeltl's back and how ready he is for the new season. That's a super important storyline.
