Julius seems like a nice guy but he is the captain of the all-nba BBL (bad body language) team. They’ll be up 20 but his shots off and he will throw himself a big pity party. Not good for the team.

Totally agree with your assessment about Minnesota. As a Spurs fan, I’m still trying to understand why Minnesota opted to diminish what I thought was their strength – lots of athletic, physical, big man depth. I think it’s pretty telling that at the first opportunity, my Spurs immediately drafted two young, athletic big men in the first round of the draft to better counter teams like Minny.
LeMelo is certainly a talented PG and I understand why they wanted to add a player like him to their team. They also picked up some nice athletic wings. But, I never thought they would make the significant shift away from what was a clear advantage – lots of physicality to much less physicality.
They’re still a talented and dangerous team but I don’t fear them as much as I did last year as a result of these changes.
