Should the Cleveland Cavaliers be considered a top-10 team entering the 2026/2027 season?
The Cleveland Cavaliers enter the 2026-27 season with enough high-end talent to belong in the conversation among the NBA’s top teams. Donovan Mitchell and James Harden give Cleveland two proven offensive stars, Evan Mobley anchors the defense, Jarrett Allen provides stability inside and the addition of Peyton Watson gives the Cavs another versatile two-way piece on the wing. After last season’s playoff disappointment, though, should Cleveland’s loaded roster automatically make the Cavaliers a top-10 team, or do they still have to prove this group can translate its talent into postseason success?

No disrespect whatsoever, and I will admit that I am a raptors fan. There's no argument for the cavaliers in a power ranking to be above the raptors at this stage. You narrowly beat the raptors in seven without the raptors having their starting point guard or starting center at that time. Now they add kawai… Sorry can't get there
