Am I the only one who sees the obvious??
Lively never started in the Finals or even a playoff game. I don't know why you keep stating this. Gafford started every playoff game including the Finals.

The reality is Lively was good with Luka. Luka makes every center better. Powell, Gafford, Lively, Hayes, Ayton, and even Rui Hachimura all were in the 10 top in field goal percentage with Luka Doncic. You don't really know if Lively is any good and this is the injury that ended Yao Ming's career. My guess is they are trying to shop Lively around for a trade. Gafford really is the only proven center on this team. He consistently produces but isn't super flashy so people think he doesnt.
Good so learn how to score by yourself
If people want to know why Powell is still in the league, when he was the center during the first Luka Western Conference Finals run, Powell played all 82 games and pretty much averaged Lively numbers. A little less on rebounds, but comparable.
So who they dropping for Dwight? Tarik? Sasser? or Cisse? (based on Steins report)
Even if Lively is healthy, he isn't going to be that big of an impact. He doesn't have an offensive game to stretch the floor aqnd doesn't have Luka to set him up for lobs. Right now Gafford and Aldama are better options at center than him
