This lineup looks promising and competitive👌
I think he’s been injury prone much like Mitchell Robinson so I think they could manage his minutes wisely coach him up train them up. Their medical team is amazing so I think they can get him stronger a lot like they did with Mitch.
With Wiseman we arent looking for a Huk replacement, we are looking for a backup center who is athletic like Mitch was. We need a backup center and Drummond not it
According to ai…..Wiseman has played only 152 of 482 possible games, meaning he has missed about 68% of all games since entering the league.
I'm very hopeful that with how good the Knicks medical staff has been with Mitch that Wiseman can get a chance at 10-15 healthy minutes a night to prove himself. If he fulfills even a fraction of his potential it will be a huge steal. Then Brown could choose to play more of a platoon at center and mix-n-match between KAT, Drummond and Wiseman with KAT moving to the 4 for some of the mins.
I’m with keeping Wiseman, but if he is not willing to lower his usage, at least in the beginning, it can be a bad fit. I would prefer to go small in most lineups when Drummond is on the bench.
Alvarado-Bridges/Diawara-OG-Hart-Wiseman could work. Wiseman could get more in flow touches against single defenders because teams would have to respect the shooters on the floor. Wiseman would be able to do a lot of good things in that situation besides just scoring, like grabbing offensive boards or getting bigs in foul trouble.
Im excited for Tyler nichols..Wiseman as well because if he gets pass injuries, its a come up for ny..
The next move will be Moussa Cisse, from Dallas. They will be forced to release Cisse and if so we have our back up center. Stay tuned. Wiseman will make the team and Dadiet contract sale will allow Cisse the New York native home.
Stop talking about replacement. Mitch replacement, Hackporti replacement isn’t the narrative. Those guys are gone now we need center focus and size with athleticism.
I feel if Wiseman can stay healthy , His athleticism and skill set may better fit that role . even supplant Andre Drummond as the backup 5 , not the 3rd
None of these guys are sticking
Wiseman isn't a Bust he's injury prone. Great player when healthy!
